During our opening, we heard from a number of incredible speakers on what it really means to design an economy that’s not just tech-driven, but truly human-first.
Monica Caminiti, Director of Skills to Succeed, opened our day, setting the tone for the moment we're in now, where rapid technological advancements are shifting the ways we work.
Then we heard from Leonard Nugroho Tjiptohadikusumo, Managing Director at Accenture Indonesia. He shared a powerful message on the impact of AI on the workforce and strategies to ensure people, especially young people, are ready to adapt. His optimistic outlook focused on humans and machines working together as allies, not adversaries.
Then we heard from Dr. Nur Hygiawati Rahayu, Director of Employment at Indonesia's Ministry of National Department Planning, who painted a compelling picture of a world where AI isn't replacing human potential, but redefining it. We finished our introductory remarks with a dynamic keynote from Irzan Raditya, founder and CEO of Kata.ai, who took us from garage startup to tech trailblazer—sharing how, with perseverance and vision, he built Indonesia’s leading AI chatbot platform. His story underscored the power of young people to lead innovation. He outlined four pillars of a winning GenAI strategy—potential, people, policies, and platforms —challenging every sector to embrace them and youth to apply them in their pursuit of meaningful employment.
This wasn't your typical “what do you do?” small talk. Participants got to know fellow event attendees through a structured networking experience designed to spark connection for a day of collaboration.

The discussion spotlighted how the company is leveraging AI to advance its Human-Machine Technology Principles—a framework designed to ensure that innovation remains both cutting-edge and deeply human-centered.

In this interactive Impact Circle, participants rolled up their sleeves for a hands-on showcase of Google’s tools designed to boost youth productivity. From smart scheduling to focus-enhancing features, the session offered practical tips to help young people harness technology to stay organized, efficient, and ready for whatever comes next.
In the afternoon, the energy shifted—from expert insights to collective action. During this highly participatory session, small groups tackled the root challenges facing youth employment today. Together, they began building a collaborative action framework— outlining bold, cross-sector strategies to ensure all young people can access meaningful work in the era of human–machine collaboration.

The day ended not with conclusions, but with commitments. Dessy Kurwiany Ukar brought the day to a close with powerful reflections and a clear call to action. Weaving together the event’s key themes, she offered not just a summary—but a vision. With actionable insights and an unwavering commitment to equity and inclusion, she reminded us that this isn’t the end of the conversation —it’s the beginning of the work.
Then the Youth Leaders took the stage to deliver their Call to Action, a powerful reminder that shared space isn’t symbolic—it’s strategic. When youth are treated as true partners, innovation accelerates—and the future looks a whole lot brighter.
After these powerful closing remarks, participants turned inward—reflecting on one bold action they would take forward. As each person raised a glow stick into the air, the room lit up—not just with color, but with shared purpose and a collective belief in the bright future ahead.
